Hiring tutors

Apply to tutor

We are selectively expanding our tutoring team across mathematics, sciences, English, humanities, economics and business, test prep, and other high-demand academic areas. Knowing the subject is not enough. We need tutors who explain difficult ideas clearly, communicate reliably, work professionally with students and families, and adapt to individual students.

What we look for

  • Strong academic background in the subjects you want to tutor (STEM applicants are especially welcome)
  • Experience tutoring or teaching (formal or informal)
  • Clear explanations and patience with students who are stuck
  • Reliable communication and professionalism with students and families
  • Reliable availability for weekly online sessions
  • Willingness to use TutorCruncher for scheduling and tutor payments
